Three ways to air-condition with an outdoor unit: one room, several rooms, or the whole home through the ceiling.
One room, one unit on the wall.
The most common choice for a bedroom or a living room: the indoor unit goes high on the wall, just below the ceiling, connected to an outdoor unit.
What matters
- Output matched to the room: floor area, exposure, insulation. We calculate it during the survey.
- The noise level, worth a close look for a bedroom.
- Where the indoor unit goes, where the outdoor unit goes, and the length of the lines between them.

To equip two to five rooms without multiplying outdoor units on the façade. Each room keeps its own setting.

What matters
- The number of rooms to equip and the output each one needs.
- A single outdoor unit, sized during the survey for all the rooms.
- Indoor units of the same brand as the outdoor unit.
The whole home, through the ceiling.
The unit hides in a false ceiling and blows through slim grilles, room by room. A ducted system is planned from the survey stage, often during a renovation: a technical visit always comes before the quote.
What matters
- The height of the false ceiling: the slimmest units measure about 25 cm.
- The static pressure, which depends on the length of the ducts and the number of grilles.
- The noise level at the grilles, especially in bedrooms.
