Your data and privacy

What we receive. The site does not store your requests. When you submit a form or the online quote, it prepares a message that you send yourself, by e-mail or WhatsApp. We then receive what that message contains: name, phone number, e-mail address, town, message and project description (rooms, installation setup); for businesses, the establishment, its SIRET number, its address and the contact person's role. Photos taken in the quote tool stay on your device: we only receive them if you attach them yourself. For a job application, we receive your e-mail and its attachments (CV, cover letter).

Technical data. As with any website, our host receives on each visit the IP address, the date, the page requested and the browser type, in order to run and protect the site. It also produces visit statistics for us, without cookies (see "Local storage and cookies").

Why, and on what legal basis.

• Answering your request, preparing a quote, arranging a visit or a job: steps taken at your request before a contract, then performance of the contract.
• Invoicing and keeping accounting records: legal obligation.
• Reviewing a job application: steps taken at your request before a contract.
• Running and protecting the site, measuring overall traffic: our legitimate interest in a secure site and in knowing which pages are useful.

Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to answer you; the others are optional. We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling.

Who receives your data. The ATH Climatique team, as far as each person needs. Our service providers process it only to provide their service to us:

• website hosting and visit statistics: Cloudflare, Inc.;
• e-mail for contact@athclimatique.com: Google;
• if you write to us on WhatsApp: WhatsApp (Meta group), which carries the message to ATH Climatique's WhatsApp account;
• quote and invoicing software: Constructor.

Your message also goes through your own e-mail or WhatsApp service, which handles it under its own terms.

Company search. In the business form, if you use the optional search, the text you type (name or SIREN number) is sent to the French government's public company directory (recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr), together with your IP address and browser type, as with any connection. It is only used to pre-fill the form.

Your data is never sold or rented. It may be disclosed to authorities that lawfully request it.

Outside the European Union. Cloudflare, Google and Meta are US groups: your data may be processed in the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 ("Data Privacy Framework") for companies on its official list, or otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

How long.

• Request with no follow-up: three years after your last contact.
• Accepted quotes, invoices and accounting records: ten years after the end of the financial year.
• Job file (reports, photos, service sheets): ten years after the end of the works; refrigerant service sheets: at least five years.
• Unsuccessful application: two years at most after the last contact, unless you ask for earlier deletion.

Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict its processing and to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including visit statistics. You can also set instructions on what happens to your data after your death. Write to contact@athclimatique.com. We reply within one month. You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Local storage and cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you from one site to another.

Cookie-free audience measurement. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, our host's tool, to know how many pages are viewed and how fast they load. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device; we only see overall figures, with nothing that identifies you. To object, block the script from static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser or with a content blocker.

What the site keeps in your browser. Only what the service you use needs. This information never leaves your device; you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's browsing data.

• ath-espace: remember the chosen area (homeowners or businesses). Duration: until you delete it.
• ath-langue: remember the display language. Duration: until you delete it.
• ath-mode: remember the day or night display mode you chose with the sun / moon button. Duration: until you delete it.
• ath-langue-vue: stop offering the English version once you have clicked “Close” or chosen English. Duration: until you delete it.
• ath-langue-vue-visite: do not offer the English version again during the visit. Duration: for the visit.
• ath-devis: keep your quote in progress: rooms, chosen models (four at most), outdoor unit location, type of home (house or apartment), no name or contact details. Duration: 6 months.
• ath-demande: keep the subject of a request started on one page and finished on another. Duration: for the visit.
• ath-marque, ath-commune: keep the brand or town chosen in the site search until the next page. Duration: for the visit.
• ath-sautille: play the arrival animation only once. Duration: for the visit.
• ath-feuillete: stop showing the catalogue's animated page corner once you have turned a page. Duration: until you clear it.

These items are strictly necessary for the service you ask for or the display you choose: they do not require your consent.

Prices for call-outs, repairs and servicing

For private customers, in accordance with the French order of 24 January 2017. A detailed, free written quote is provided before any work.

Hourly labour rate (incl. VAT)

€82.50 incl. VAT (€75 excl. VAT), Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm.

How time is counted

The first hour is charged as soon as we come out (labour package: €82.50 incl. VAT, i.e. €75 excl. VAT); after that, time is charged per half-hour started (€41.25 incl. VAT).

Hours

Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm. Outside these hours, call-outs are possible with a surcharge on the hourly labour rate:

Evenings, Monday to Saturday before 8 am and after 6 pm: €123.75 per hour incl. VAT (50% surcharge, i.e. €112.50 excl. VAT).

Sundays and public holidays: €165.00 per hour incl. VAT (100% surcharge, i.e. €150 excl. VAT).

Time is counted the same way: the first hour is due, at the surcharged rate of the time slot, then each half-hour started is charged (evenings: €61.88 incl. VAT; Sundays and public holidays: €82.50 incl. VAT).

Zone 1, up to 10 km: free.

Zone 2, 10 to 25 km: €88 incl. VAT (€80 excl. VAT).

Zone 3, 25 to 45 km: €132 incl. VAT (€120 excl. VAT).

Beyond 45 km: on quotation.

Fixed-price services

Unblocking a toilet, sink or washbasin: €165 incl. VAT (€150 excl. VAT).

Servicing a single-split air conditioner, one indoor unit and the outdoor unit: €121 incl. VAT (€110 excl. VAT); per additional indoor unit: €49.50 incl. VAT (€45 excl. VAT).

Ducted air conditioning, concealed leak detection, water heaters and parts: on quotation.

Prices exclude travel costs (free in zone 1) and include VAT at 10% for homes more than two years old (20% otherwise).

VAT rate

The amounts incl. VAT in this table include 10% VAT (homes completed more than two years ago). Homes completed less than two years ago (20% VAT): €90.00 per hour, €135.00 per hour in the evening, €180.00 per hour on Sundays and public holidays. The 5.5% rate is shown on the quote for work that qualifies.
